She Dances

 

She dances when she’s shackled

She dances when she’s free

She dances to a very

Different drummer than me

 

She dances in the springtime

And in the autumn mist

She dances through the summer

And the darkest winter depths

 

She dances in the blackest nights

She dances in the sunshine

She dances through the dreary dreams

Of once upon a time

 

She dances through the pain

When she’s left behind

She dances through the chaos

And I just don’t know why

 

She dances in the abyss

And the steel cuts so hard

She dances when bloodied

Shredded, torn apart

It's been a long time since I've been on this site. It took me several days of attempts to even remember the password. I couldn't ask for a new one because my old e-mail no longer exists. I had difficulty creating a new account, and was finally able to completely guess my old password. So, it's good to be back. I am working on a new novel and I have a number of songs that I wanted to put on here.
