LET THE SEASONS

call by name – come wind

and rain and everything

not so nice – come

snow and add to my chores.

Your banks pile higher

than my snowshoes can muster

the energy to overcome.

I’ll collect my friends and together

we’ll watch the horizon--

come summer & melt you away.

Sounds good! We don't ever get snow here in South-Africa. Never. Most of us haven't even ever seen snow. Only when it's terribly cold sometimes it snows on the mountains. The Cape mountains and the Drakensberg. There in the northern hemishere is it winter now? Summer here!

Thank you Tom. It seems funny no snow in your country. In this part of Nova Scotia, Truro is in the exact centre, snow lasts only a few days to a week. Icy roads is a serious hazard after the rain lands on top of snow. Many car accidents. Take care.
