Very nice Richard! Yes somewhere can be anywhere anywhere is somewhere it has no bounds. Wherever you can go you always can go further. I hesitate to ask but what do you mean with "a poke"? By us it would mean something to smoke? It's local slang maybe yours too.

Thank you for your kind words. I am using "poke" to probe the sky. In my poem a winter road is harnessed by banks of trees with flowing branches and I want to stir things up at the end of the journey somewhere and yet nowhere. Does that make sense?

Hi Mark, your remarks are and have been very helpful. I am going to change to "Touch." Poke is  bit odd.
