Grey school trousers, skirts and socks,
grey rain clouds, and seaside rocks,
grey knives and forks, and grandad’s hair,
roads and pavements everywhere,
baby swan cygnets, and house mice too,
elephants and seals that we see in the zoo.

that's perfect - was worried it was going to be grim, with school uniform, but was great how you finished on fun things, so you can feel like an elephant when you're going to school :0)

Thanks, Di, I hadn't thought of that, it was just a bit of fun started when I was vacuuming today and wanted some mental challenge! But yes, grey can be fun in elephants and cygnets – and a crown of respect and wisdom on a elderly person! Rhiannon

I enjoyed your take on the colour grey Rhiannon, it's somewhat of a colour asssociated with grey skies and grey hair, but you've definitely given it a fun factor.
