Last Laugh

Painting faces from behind the lie,
That who you are was revealed,
In an entirety of integrity,
An expanse of our friendship,
Danced in moonlit courtship,
Mere illusion by your narcissism,
Yet I was disuaded from truth,
For I only wanted you to accept yourself.
Now that you have taken my value,
Discarded my compassion for attention,
I seek only to avenge myself,
To rip away the masks you wear,
Crucifying you in public to atone for an unforgivable sin.
I will ascend to greater heights,
Past the mirage of morphed perception,
Which you find in yourself,
Projected onto me,
Know that my violence is a saving grace,
Yet you will suffer when I become a better human being,
To which you will never hold a candle to illuminate reality.
No rest for this damaged soul,
Passions twisted,
Into unconditional hate,
When the midnight hour chimes,
Judgment falls as you become just another face in the audience,
Where no applause sounds to soothe your ego.

Very sad. The women's libber
Very sad. The women's libber type in the end always concede to be women. I mean dresses make-up bra etc. Invariably they do resign to society norms. A woman wants to be beautiful and a man strong. There you go. That's it.
Lots of truth in your last laugh Victor! Tom Brown
