Here doctor, here we all are, 

the lonely hearts of Blighty.

Hunched up in your waiting rooms.

Confused, broken and flighty.

 

I scream, 

you scream.

We all scream

for Dopamine!

 

Big Pharma they are all shouting, 

that we haven’t got enough.

They’ll dishing out chemical kisses,

and these tablets are the love.

 

I scream,

you scream.

We all scream, 

for Fluoxetine! 

 

We are living in a chrysalis, 

fluttering to escape.

Pushing out to touch the world.

Bent and all out of shape.

 

I scream,

you scream.

We all scream,

for Sertraline! 

 

Hit us up with something else.

These pills don’t cut the mustard.

Tout suite, it’s too sweet.

Swimming lengths in custard. 

 

I scream,

We all scream,

for Paroxetine! 

 

Hello doctor, it’s us again.

We cannot seem to weep.

We look in the mirror and poke cellophane.

We are tired of counting sheep.

It would be lovely to hear you read some of these Ralph. Have you seen we're having a reading event in London on november 16th? It's an afternoon thing for non-londoners. Let me know if you can make it!

I’d love to come down and read/perform. I’m one of the original ABCTalers and joined in it’s very first week of existence. I have a massive soft spot for the site.

I’ll be coming down from Bradford. A long way and expensive to get there.

Hi Ralph - yes, of course you can bring your books. Cerasus Press will also be bringing theirs (they're all abctalers) so you can have a selling battle or something smiley. I'm so sorry we can't afford to fund anyone's travel - we would if we had any money but as you know we don't! Once you know you can definitely make it, could you please email mark@abctales.com so he can put you on the reading list. From memory people generally do buy books at the readings so I hope it works for you. I'll put my order in now though 

forgot to mention - it's an afternoon thing so you might be able to do a day return which could be cheaper?

Did you buy it from the PayPal address? It's better that way. I get a slightly bigger royalty that way and it comes out of stock that I have brought from the publisher.
