Preparing For Brexit.

None of us in England know what will happen the day after October 31st 2019 this year. My Daughter and her friends have booked a holiday for next year abroad in Europe, for me that’s a brave thing to do, for we don’t know how things will work out.
My Manager asked one of my Co-Workers to do a Brexit Risk Assessment! We thought that was quite funny and the Co-Worker she said to me, “The members of Parliament, don’t know what they are doing, so how am I going to do a Brexit Risk Assessment?” She has a point.
I work with someone who is very nervous, I said to him, “Try not to worry, you voted three years ago just like I too voted, and now it is out of our hands, we did our bit and now we just like everyone else have to wait and see what happens next.” This has not stopped him worrying.
From this year, and throughout the year, at my local Tesco they have mobile reduced racks of items of food that have dents or parts of the multiple packets open, all dated from next year and onwards. I have been buying items like long life milk, tins of soup, cup of soups, yeast, peanut drinks, cans of pop, cereals, rice, pasta, and many other items I wouldn’t usually buy, all greatly reduced, because the packaging, was damaged but everything is sealed, 100%. I’ve kept everything together, so I can see in an instant where they all are. In addition to this I have bought lots of pesto, when they have been on special offer, as usually it is quite expensive.
I have also bought various types of honey in case there is no sugar. I’ve learnt in the past to be OK with or without sugar, but it’s always nice to have something sweet.
England in the past, has been through difficult times before and we have survived, I don’t know how the younger ones will cope, but I aim to win, in whatever situation should arise.
This is me preparing for Brexit.

It's a ridiculous situation -
It's a ridiculous situation - and like you say, it must be particularly awful for people with anxiety
