I have the right to remember things

that may have happened

without  any attachment of guilt .

I have the right to ride the roller coaster of my emotions

and cry if the milk was spilt  .

I have the right to try to anticipate

before it happens  and then try to plan ahead 

I have the right to stop doing the things I did

and try something completely different instead 

I have the right to change my mind

at any time without giving notice to anyone there .

I have the right to make my own decisions

and not become a robot programmed to answer .

I have the right to sing and dance

and have fun

without having to answer to anyone’s demand .

I have the right to do something for others

even when those who know me may not understand .

I have the right to be kind to myself

and to treat other people the same way as they treat me  .

I have the right to stand on  my principles

and to make changes  to how the future should be
