Isolation

They’ve taken my lungs down to the lab

left the rest of me in an isolation bed

even the fear I’m bleeding

left stains in my head

what drugs will they drop by the back door

from pathology’s dungeon?

will the virus learn after incubation 

that life must go on as before?
