Relationships many – her life was a mess,
found Jesus knew all and seemed willing to bless –
returned to the town to tell people this must
be surely Messiah, the Saviour to trust.
They went out to find him, to meet him and hear
his teaching and knowledge – and soon it was clear
that Jesus was Saviour: Samaritans, Jews
and Gentiles – for all he’d astounding good news!
Tune: 11 11 11 11
based on John 4: 1-42

Hi Rhiannon, long time no
Hi Rhiannon, long time no read, hope you are well.
Okay, so I've got to say the subject isn't to my taste, pease don't be offended by that, just each to their own and all that and I've checked all my bones and don't have a religious one in my body. I'd like to have.
However: the rhyme is tight and works perfectly. You have the craft of thinking about every word and making it count. The message is clear and comes across well and I like the fact that it's cheery and uplifting in these Covid ridden times. I read the 'She' as Mary Magdelaine and feel from the piece, her linage passing through every woman down the ages with relationships many and a life in a mess. Story of my bleeding life! I always envy peple their faith, it would be nice to never feel alone.
I could imagine this printed on bookmarks, teatowels, postcards and suchlike on a spinning stand in a Christian bookshop. You say it's part of a themed collection, if you have a view to publishing, it might be worth contacting some Christian organisations for distribution. This is as good as any I've read.
Looking forward to reading more from you. Stay safe.

Rhiannon I looked up the following
Rhiannon I looked up the following verses- Matthew 13: 16,17 and Luke 10: 23,24
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Have a good day and a good week! Tom Brown
