Morning's Chuckle

Growing older can be a challenge. This morning after shaving I waited for the murky water to race down the drain. Gosh it was now over ten seconds. The sink should be empty.
Usually it is like the mighty Moose River in northern Ontario whooshing along. I decided to get the plunger and give this reluctant water a sample of my muscles. Gosh again, that water is stubborn.
It’s still very slow going down the drain. Should I put on my glasses to see what’s going on? But first give it another good plunge. As I did, a shadowy object flew from the sink and glanced off my shoulder.
I quickly reached for my glasses. By golly, it was the sink plug I had forgotten to pull out. My wife simply looked at me with a big smile when I shared my early adventure.
