Hair

During lockdown
One thought that I harbour
is where do I find a barber.
They're closed in my road,
I may have to go abroad
but if I cannot find Figaro
my hair must be left to grow

Hi Luigi,
Hi Luigi,
Your poem did give me a smile. I've never worried about long hair, 'let it flow' is what I say.
Thank you for brightening up my day.

Hi Luigi,
Hi Luigi,
So sorry about the delay in reading Jessica. There's so much to read on here at the moment, I'm finding it hard to keep up with everything. Now you've mentioned it, I'll be over to your sight as soon as possible.
Thank you for reminding, it must be my age. Ha,ha!

This poem resonates with me
This poem resonates with me too. I actually chopped some of the ends of my hair the other day because I couldn't stand it any longer and I'm not entirely sure that it's all the same length now so so have to wear it up all the time. You don't know how important a hairdresser is until you don't have one!

Beautiful Hair neatly done!
Nice rhymes Luigi - all hairy poems remind me of the musical Hair -not that song so much, but the scene where Berger dances on the table! Freedom - will you one day write one poem about the Barber?! Pleeeease? :)

Catching up - you have
Catching up - you have captured a moment for us all with this poem Luigi! I imagine there will be some very busy haridressers once they're able to resume work. I have tried twice to do my own highlights and all I can say is I'm glad not many people can see me
