Aware Of Letting Go

Try to imagine sinking into a warm bath,
full of rose petals and fragrant oils, that
take you to another place.
This thought inspired my poem.
Voices blend
In hypnotic
Suggestion
Surrendering
To letting go,
Relaxing those
Arduous thoughts,
Sinking into
Perfumed warmth,
Water softened
With compelling
Fragrant oils,
Shouldering muscles
Deep in soft rose petals,
Familiar stillness
Feeling so light
With eyes shut tight,
Buffeted on
Visions trance like,
To sink beneath
Tresses of willows,
An open lake awash
With ambiance under
Vividness of azure,
Watch tremble of fine
Gossamer glint upon
Shady bank...where
Greenwood enfolds;
Concealing need
For solitude,
Feel presence of
Undulating as you drift,
Fringed with
Yellow floating hearts,
Declared invasive...
But in imagination
Showing strength
To survive,
Languid spirit
Receptive to
Open mind,
Hear pulse
Of heartbeat;
Awaken those
Graceful petals,
Let them
Open and bloom,
Caressing skin
Sleek twirling energy,
each breath
Elevating emotions,
Reaching laid back
Contentment.
