Mr Muldoon

It was said the man next door got caught up in the gloom and doom .   

This world will never see again the likes of Mr Muldoon

He packed a bag and made his way up the staircase to the moon .

He went looking for the dish who had run away with the spoon .

He was a special man who lived his life inside a cocoon .

Without any warning he was swept away one afternoon ,.

I hope he found the dish and spoon  there when he got to the moon ,

He was an innocent man , people said he was gone too soon .
