of this moment
how I must
stand on both feet
as I gaze
at two
deer-
mother and child
one needing
one giving
her fondness as she
stares lovingly
at her child
looking about at
the
forest
sky
and life as
a friend indeed.

loved this one! You are amazing at catching fleeting moments of infinite beauty.
The two feet bit made me think of when I saw a deer this afternoon, in very windy woods, and just as you say, it was my solidity that struck me, compared to the delicacy of its movement, like the bending birch twigs
And how you describe the relationship between fawn and mother is so tender, simple, pure, it is piercing
so, you DID explain !!! Brilliantly :0)
