I used to shine
Under the sun
I used to bloom
Under the moon
I stretched with a yawn
On a glorious july morn
I teased smaller trees
When stripping my leaves
I Stood tall and proud
Under rain filled clouds
And how I remember
Shivering in December
But I was so strong
And the years were long
Now I’m old and stark
With veins in my bark
I have grown thin
I creak much louder in wind
I no longer stand tall
I’m just waiting go fall

I wonder if trees know when

I wonder if trees know when their time is coming to an end. I always hope they don't feel any pain.
A poingnant read.
Jenny.
