We Are Stars

When stars sing their last song
Elevated to a higher reality,
Laced patterned threads sequin night;
Five points once cloistered...now
Gripped by beauty that swells everlasting,
Silence holding brightly shining proud against
Darkness,
No more waking sweetly between each gleam,
Blinking light overhanging...appearing delicate,
Gives study in gracious words: whispering of
Miracles, an endless balance of everything:
Treasured masterpiece of the heavens,
Veiled by dawning of day.

The Light
In the Gospel of John "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
A lovely poem Jenny! &&

Another good one
This is really good Jenny. Great word choices throught. You have a great way of explaining things: "When stars sing their last song," and "veiled by dawning of day," really stuck out for me. Great job.

Hi Jenny
Hi Jenny
This is such an interesting poem - beautifully written. I wish I could manipulate words the way you do.
