Sparkling celandines
and deep-hued violets
shining in the sunshine
amidst the new rich green ground cover.
Hawthorn leaves squirting out of buds,
daffodils still in full song,
and a celandine growing in a split trunk niche.

Hi Rhiannon,
Hi Rhiannon,
I'm so happy to hear you're finally managing to get out, if only for a stroll. I understand and do feel for you. You've captured a lovely bit of colourful nature here in your poem, which I always love to read.
Beautiful and thank you for sharing.
Jenny.

Rich with your way of seeing,
Rich with your way of seeing, how you conjure the majesty and marvel of life in so few lines. I am really glad you got out into the sunshine and the wild, Rhiannon. It is like seeing a butterfly open its wings reading this :0)
