Going With The Flow

Examine Clouds up high,
shades appear mantling
sun, ignoring beams
of power,
they hang in limbo with
no sound, thought or
feeling, emanating only
calm before breaking apart,
fractured by movement,
roamers of the sky, their
destiny awaits across
hills and peaks,
no time to loiter, sweeping
through breezes, becoming
weaker, existing on
borrowed time.

Perfect - I just love cloud gazing. They say so much with the shapes they form. Super poem, our Jenny!

I don't share this fact with
I don't share this fact with many people but I spend a lot of my time sitting outdoors staring at the sky. Days with blue skies and cumulus clouds are the best because this is when I see maps of Ireland, ducks with three legs, my grandfather smoking a pipe and a myriad of other fascinating shapes that these fluffy white beauties form themselves into.
Your excellent words reflect an hour I spent in the garden this morning.

Hi Jenny
Hi Jenny
We used to spend hours lying on our backs, trying to find pictures in clouds, and just watching them move. Lovely poem.

Good one
Hey Jenny, good one. I like the imagery in this one. I think like this a lot too. It's cool that you can look at some clouds and have all these thoughts about them. Great work.
