Grounding Of Autumn

I'm deep as an abyss in
reasons for loving this season,
for my sensitive tears fall
like leaves blanketing ground;
pooling these cheeks with
emotional tears of joy,
hearing touching sounds of
much loved stirring nature,
for irregular autumn colours
descending are bohemian;
so I too a free spirit reach out
to the earth, where amusing
blackbird's trill inspires; its
natural flair for tossing leaves:
hungering juicy worms,
calling out of danger
whenever I'm around.
But to linger here for just a while,
watch each leaf gently clinging;
till letting go – fluttering from
limbs they once wildly adorned
come to rest, soon decomposing
they've played their vital part
now in natures garden,
melodious gifts of spiritual tones
declare; it's time to slip away...depart.

I've always struggled with
I've always struggled with autumn. I love spring when nature bursts into life and then the warmth and richness of summer, but autumn just gives me a feeling that everything is over and done with despite its beautiful colours that everyone keeps reminding me about. So today your lovely words have helped me a little in my fight against my annual anti-autumn mood.
Thank you for that.

It's lovely that the dying
It's lovely that the dying has beauty created in it too.
they've played their vital part – in spring, and summer, and many in autumnal colours, but now will still contribute to further growth as they mulch into the soil! Rhiannon

A beautiful, autumnal reverie
A beautiful, autumnal reverie tinged with sadness at the life cycle of leaves. Just a lovely read. Paul :)

I love this about blackbirds
I love this about blackbirds : " its natural flair for tossing leaves" made me smile each time I read it :0)
and this : " to linger here for just a while,
watch each leaf gently clinging;
till letting go" is gorgeous.
Also " I'm deep as an abyss" is intense!
