A hard letter! but you've got some good and unusual ideas.

I hadn't written anything down before, but had been pondering and was about to! I had come to the conclusion it was about the rest (Zzz) between Christmas visits, and the second part thinking of the zing of spring coded up in the seeds ready to uncoil as it were and show itself. You've put that really nicely now.  I suppose now the first part is the zing of visits as well, and glad for a restful home between? Rhiannon

Oh! You are clever! That was exactly what it was about :0) Am not sure the first part is quite right yet. This attempt, was thinking about how children leave the homes they have made, where they might be parents,  to go back home, and then being in the place in the family where you grew up, where always thought of as a child? So holding time is sort of about a time of being held/hugged, but also where time seems to have stopped, to be sleeping?

Thankyou so much for giving your time to trying to decode these ramblings! You have helped so much over all these, to find which bits are ok, which bits are too garbled , it's so kind of you :0)

Zing being the complete opposite to our feeling of Zzzz during the darker days.

I love the zing of spring. It fills me with a positive vibe. I've always loved January for this reason because, no matter what the weather throws at us, the days are slowly getting longer and nature is coming back to life. 

Zing Went The Strings of My Heart, as the Trammps once sang.

You've done it! A to Z ... an excellent collection of writing that reflects so well the feelings of this time of year. Well done Di.

Thank YOU for reading them all!!! I look forward to reading yours next year :0) And Rhiannon said she did one, before, which I will try to find, only if I ever look for anything in hers I get sidetracked by all the other brilliant things :0)

The light does feel stronger, already, which is ridiculous as it's only a few days since the solstice, but it DOES. Although February tends to be the coldest month here, like a wave crashing, then it's Spring :0)
