In the Streets of Pamplona

I was going to propose
to beautiful Ramona
on the day the bulls ran
in the streets of Pamplona
Was prepared to use
the expression Je t'adore,
then discovered she loved
a handsome matador.
He wasn't a Spaniard,
and came from Costa Rica.
Was elated to be sought
by this passionate chica.
They had bullfights
in his birthplace
called "Toros a la Tica",
but it was no disgrace.
The bulls, though teased,
were never killed
by the improvisados
who were very skilled.
Despite being my rival,
I admire this chap
for being honourable;
to him, I doff my cap.
I will have to concede
and admit defeat,
they'll march to the altar
and I shall retreat.
I'll be full of regret,
perhaps even peeved,
but Juanita, my wife,
will be mightily relieved.

I must have missed this one Luigi. Gave me a great big cheesy smile.
A big thumbs up. It's okay I've calmed down now.

Hi Luigi,
Just me and my partner playing marathon games of scrabble till the wee small hours of New Year's day morning and listening to music.
Got to keep the old brain cells functioning .
