The bygones have gone by
Departing with a heavy sigh
The leftovers joined the queue
Time has no feelings for you
The tales we told years ago
Come back to say hello
Swept in by history’s brush
Time is always in a rush
Forever saying goodbye
History won’t look you in the eye
Unless you’re looking back
Time is a desert track
The past is the future’s prey
It keeps nothing at bay
The human race runs too fast
Yet Time, will never be last

Clever, eve-catching title.

Lots of enjoyable rhythm and seemingly simple rhyme tied together nicely with repetition under a clever, eye-catching title.
Thank you, Smokejack.
