and loyalties reliable emerge.

Hear! Hear! Rhiannon. These words are so important. We all need that special someone we can depend on, and know they can depend on us too.

It brings to mind when our fence blew down, instead of getting in someone professional, me and my partner and our neighbours managed to put new fencing up and it wasn't too expensive either.

May we all learn to help our neighbours and good friends conquer all.

Thanks, Jenny. In working together we learn to know people often and knwo we can depend on each other with trust.

I was wondering how many real friends the rich Putin has, or are they his allies as he is so rich. The prodigal son parable came to mind too, whose 'friends' deserted him when his money ran out. Rhiannon

Those who wield power to feather their own nest and lives don't realise a) their basic unhappiness, as well as those of so many others and b) they do not know when they will have to face judgement, either in this life or after death. and of course, have few, if any, real friends unless they change. Firstly, thank you for reading and referencing my poem "Easter Tragedy" which is very close to my heart.  I was just over the border during and after the war when Mugabe brutally pounded and continued to pound his poor people.  Putin is doing to same... 

And yes, your poem today is so relevant.  Thank you and stay safe.

Thank you. Looking back (over a long life!) one remembers dictators who caused fear, and have been so quickly forgotten. So foolish, so sad. But there are those who work hard to rule well, to help the people they serve. Rhiannon
