Midnight and Darkness

Up a one way street lost and driving without my glasses even at night and drunk. This was very long ago and I was mentally not well at the time I don't drink anymore and since then have been being successfully treated on medicine.
As said, Wherever I may roam I will find my way back home, I will always return to the Lord.

Then there was the time I got lost at night in sea bush that was like cold fear that place is terribly dangerous. It was the valley of the shadow of death, but God had mercy and I think my girlfriend's incessant furious passionate prayers saved me although myself not so strong on the praying but sometimes I'm good at is myself also like this time.
At the same time a man was murdered up in the parking, that is up and outside in light maybe could be people around even. He was savagely killed with rocks his car smashed up too. I have a newspaper clip. These robbers thieves and murderers live in those bushes.
At midnight it was new moon and with old year's. I had a penlight I ended up at the place again and again there was a white wall in this little clearing where six paths come together. You had to choose entrances but I couldn't remember. Painted large “Alive in Christ is dead in sin” signed by a ghost.
Terrifying stuff. I think people have died here. So instead I headed for the beach and got out that way eventually walking around all this on the sand and found a way out in the dark and to my car. Must have walked altogether two kilometres or more.

Almost murdered at Black Rock too, all of my possessions and suitcase all of it they burned but I saved my ID and shaving bag with the pills. This the last trip and deserted by family lived on the beach a while, the sandman looked after me he made sand sculptures on the beach and lived on small contributions. I worked for him. He was very good at it pencil portraits too.

My family and friends don't let me drive a motorcar apparently I'm believed to be reckless. Although there was only one serious crash and it was only I that was injured, three weeks in traction orthopaedics operations leg in plaster the usual thing. Made it. Long ago.

I'm reminded of the hymn
I'm reminded of the hymn looking back at how often he realises now that God saved him from bad situations and influences, long before he realised or knew and acknowledged Him.
I think that sign 'Painted large “Alive in Christ is dead in sin” ' would have been something like 'Alive in Christ is dead to sin' as in Romans 6:11, meaning that when we receive him, we have new life and his Holy Spirit can help us resist all temptations, because its overwhelming grip on us has been broken.
