Sing an old saw of land and sea,
trade of place will ever be; no contest
for this Earth is free to shape its curve
past you or me to judge,
only stars above.
Suck of surf and lick of tide wash our
footprints, soon will hide
all trace of petty gambles, greed,
take our plastic fantasies to bed
where all our cunning led.
Sing an old saw of land and sea,
no quarrel and no urgency in rime
outlined on granite thrown from Vulcan’s
vaults which given time return to face
its maker.

This was so interesting,
This was so interesting, flowing and easy in all parts except the bit about plastic, as if saying just with the rhythmn how plastic isn't part of the flow, the cycle, made me think of the beach where everything is beautiful and clean, except the evidence of us
