“ – the sign said ‘Take away’,
and nowhere, anywhere did it say
to go to the cash-till to pay!”

“I’m trying a bit of self-help to save
those searching me jobs to do.
I’m serving myself and that should help you,
– no need to support me too.”

Thanks! Another of my children had a tendency to take idiomatic language literally, which was quite funny. I remember the doctor telling him he could leap on to the couch - he looked surprised and did a big leap!
