Wildflowers

Resilience and strength are ignored.
Benefits downplayed.
Too few recognise their worth.
Life is under-appreciated.
'Tidy' borders prized.
Weedkiller to keep things in order.
Nature's diversity neglected
Pollinators die.
Too late, we realise we need them.

The beauty of small
The beauty of small widlflowers is so often not noticed. Mind you we encouraged cinquefoil and herb robert (which has lovely leaf colours in autumn too) in our rather wild patched garden, and they have rather taken over and difficult to ;manage'! Rhiannon

I read this
as an extended metaphor for migrants and our attitudes to them.
