Bright November afternoon:
on the Onny, late low sunshine glints,
river flowing full (border rain)
tumbling sound,
trees still holding autumn tints,
some bushes bare but clinging berries decorate.
Shropshire hills surround, not
blue and misted today,
ginger, green and brown in mellow
patchwork display.

Brilliant choice! It is so
Brilliant choice! It is so easy and right that it seems simple, but is so clever with the gentle rhythm, not "dum de dum" at all, but rolling like the hills in your gorgeous photo (that colour, WOW!!!) full of wonderful sound music, like "late low sunshine glints" and rain with afternoon/ brown/ sound/ surround. Just so satisfying to read! Thankyou :0)
And your photos are FAB, I thought the top one must be a famous painting

Hi Rhiannon
Such a short, but wonderful description. You pack so much beauty into so few words.

I can hear the rain and see the trees with autum tints. A lovely vision. Very nicely done, Rhiannon. Paul :)

You've captured so much of
You've captured so much of the natural beauty in your photos with this poem Rhiannon. I can imagine the patchwork display of the Shropshire hills, and your lilting rhythm of the river's tumbling sound must have been so healing.
Such a peaceful Sunday afternoon read which I enjoyed.
Jenny.

HI Rhiannon
Lovely colourful description of your countryside. I think we are more wintery than you, but being father north that is probably to be expected.
