Nana
Round and jolly
warm and friendly
but shallow.
Arthritis trouble increased,
and weight.
Grampa
Slow and gentle
(slow wink)
hen-pecked?
(slid off his back,
happy yoke)
hard-working MP
a listening ear
integrity
steady faith
fun.

A couple of lovely pen pictures, Rhiannon. You say so much in so few words. "Warm and friendly.." and "Hard- working MP.." stand out. I imagine those are special pics too. Nicely done, of course. Paul

Such warmth in this, Rhiannon
Such warmth in this, Rhiannon, and beautiful photographs. As Turlough said, the love is right there. It's a joy to read.

Your face has the shapes of
Your face has the shapes of theirs! I like very much how your poem shows two such different characters give strength to each other. I didn't know your Grampa was an MP, he looks very conscientious and honourable, so was intriguing how your last word about him is "fun", perhaps something not everyone would know. Your poem made me think of a river, with light ripples on the top, and strong steady current causing change on the bottom

It is a lovely photo! All of your family like branches
I hope you are well, any problems I have are nothing compared to the health troubles you have been dealing with so bravely, I think!

I can tell precious thoughts and memories are so treasured in your loving poem Rhiannon. The photos are a beautiful moment caught in time too.
Lovely read.
