Solar Heatwave Changing

Solar Heatwaves Changing
Changing solar climes
Mercury rising in the glare
Dark side frozen falling
Just like a pub with no beer
A lifeless rock bereft of atmosphere
Next up, the evil twin
Always on the boil
Selfish carbon keeping
Cosmic heat without remission
Star stored nuclear fission
The third Rock spins
Summer nodding toward the sun
Seasons changing
Ice aged freezing
To heatwave-struggled breathing
Then Mars, the warring world
Of lifeless desert sand
Sol by Sol lifeless lies
Stretching cosmic beams
Weak Martian dreams
From planets five to eight
Watery sunshine wanes
Heat waved a long goodbye
Photons stretch to touch
Heliosphere ending
Kelvin-close in icy darkness
I’d dream of heat ascending
This Goldilocks Globe
Warm or cool by comparison
What’s a heatwave really?

The term 'goldilocks zone'
The term 'goldilocks zone' should shock us to how suitable a situation our earth was ulaced in, despite the climate problems, and of course even more perfect when first made, and as will be when put right.
The IP this week is a 'sticky situation' which I applied (at my husband's suggestion!) to the heatwave. But we would certainly be in a very sticky situation, and actually unsurvivable if placed on any of those other beautiful planets! Rhiannon
