Dream sifter.

No-one that I know of has ever spent an afternoon in that mysterious region where the mountains meet the sky. Not if you leave aside the likes of Noah and Moses anyway. It seems that there are probably no washing machines there, or windmills, and the bones of dinosaurs who lived there back in the day have all been collected and used to make soup.
But it is into that very region that I was invited to meet the Sifter of Dreams. It was more of a summons than an invitation, but invitation sounds much more friendly and light-hearted so we’ll go with that.
The Sifter’s name was Windy so I giggled. He logged on and found my file with all the dreams of my years catalogued and cross referenced. I was surprised that the naughty dream section was littler than I remembered, but then I wasn’t a teenager for very long and they were all just versions of the one tired old theme.
I was relieved to discover that the Sifter wasn’t interested in my naughty dreams, and he admitted with a befuddled look upon his face that there were a few dreams that he had not been able to classify, hence the invitation to meet with him.
“There are several dreams,” he squeaked from behind tartan whiskers, “There are several dreams which include you talking to toilets and words such as perpendicular, dermatitis and suppository crop up in them all, each word being used inappropriately. Could you explain that?” Windy enquired, pushing his eyebrows well up into his hairline.
Again I giggled, but the Sifter of Dreams really did seem quite concerned about these dreams which no-one else seemed to be dreaming, not on his watch anyway.
I tried to explain that my toilet was my closest friend, and the only friend I was happy to sit upon, so it was only natural that I would strike up a conversation while spending time with him. We were on very good terms and I visited him more than anyone I know.
The sifter was not convinced and I had to make another appointment to see him along with some advisory members of the council next Wednesday. I’ll let you know how it goes.

funny and interesting
Your imagery is so strong in this! This is also just a generally funny and creative story, and I really enjoyed reading this.
one note: I think the story could use more imagery describing the mountain-sky area when the narrator goes to speak with the Sifter.

.. found my file with all the dreams of my years catalogued and cross referenced".
Imagine that, you don't want anyone to get hold of that! Least of all yourself!
Keep well & Nolan
