To see through the haze

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]
Your thinking a haze as around you you gaze:
Is life just a muddle of chance?
With hatred and vice, and so much that’s not nice,
yet a beautiful starry expanse;
and hearts everywhere that still love, try to care.
Who put in our hearts to love peace?
He sees now the evil, and tricks of the devil,
and soon make all follies to cease.
A righteous Creator, omnipotent Father,
– of this can we really be sure?
Yes, Jesus showed clearly his manhood and deity –
turn to him, believe him before
he comes once again, and removes all sin then.
Embrace him, the King evermore.
Don’t spurn Him like those who such bitterness chose
and offered salvation ignore.
And when you have read in the words he has said
at different times, various ways
and then through His Son, Jesus Christ, you’ve begun
to find that you see through the haze:
a lens for surveying life’s puzzles each day,
right principles from God above,
and know how to pray, and help others to stay
in His pardon, and care, faithful love.

misty mirror
Very true, and Paul in the wonderful words of 1 Corinthians,
Now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
You must have a good week & Nolan
