Happy Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

 

Nothing new to report on my cancer journey - but I thought you might like to read this poem that someone sent me.  It is called the Navahoe Blessing

 

 

In beauty may I walk

All day long may I walk.

    Through the returning seasons may I walk.

    Beautifully will I possess again.

    Beautifully birds.

    Beautifully joyful birds.

    On the trail marked with pollen may I walk.

    With grasshoppers about my feet may I walk.

    With dew about my feet may I walk.

 

    With beauty may I walk.

    With beauty before me may I walk.

    With beauty behind me may I walk.

    With beauty above me may I walk.

    With beauty all around me may I walk.

    In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, lively, may I walk.

    In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, living again, may I walk.

    It is finished in beauty.

    It is finished in beauty.

Good to hear from you, Jean. And good wishes and prayers for your Christmas time too.

I was reminded about 'whatever is true … noble … right…pure …lovely … admirable …excellent … praiseworthy — think about such things ' (Philippians 4:8), not that we aren't aware of the wrong, but to focus on the beauty and good and know it will be full in his kingdom. Rhiannon

Thanks for the lovely poem and its thoughts. 
Just watched the Hairy Bikers on TV and Dave Myers's struggle with cancer!,
