"Turn Down the Noise"

Turn down the noise
Power off the blue light
Disconnect the media
Ignore the frenzy
Step into the forest
Contemplate the lake
View art in the clouds
Rejoice in birds songs
We are conditioned
To adapt and advance
Progress propels us
To the moon and beyond
But Nature is within us
We are part of the whole
We need to understand
Our stewardship role
Consciousness is universal
We feel ripples in the waves
Discord and disharmony
Disrupt the calm soul
Nature is our homeland
Everywhere it thrives
We can learn from its resilience
Interwoven, diversity of roots
All things created
Intrinsic to life
Deserving a place of respect
On this orbiting planet, Earth

agreed
Good idea - I agree wholeheartedly. I think I should go sit in the garden more often. It's lovely outside, peaceful.
Keep well & Nolan

You draw the picture well of switching off the rowdy voices and enjoying relaxing contemplation out in nature.Thank you.
We may hussle but not achieve unless we take time to relax and steady our soul and perspective, and like Jacques says, have time to trust in God, and then we may have a steadier soul to go back and progress not being hussled by the frenzies all around us! Rhiannon

"Step into the forest
"Step into the forest
Contemplate the lake.."
Wise words, Penny. There's a whole industry in forest-bathing devoted to encouraging just that. Maybe we need to break the bonds of slavery to our electronic devices. They are just so addictive.
