Weak sunlight filters through the tree tops

Across the leaves

blending colors

lime to emerald

dappling the ground

in spots of amber

 

Clouds roll in

blinking the sun’s light

on and off

creating

random twinkles

imitating firefly's magic

 

Temperate breezes

sway moss wrapped branches

rustling leaves

in chorus

to the orchestra

of nature laughing

How lucky of you to be able to have a lovely sight of a forest in the sunshine. From my back window, at the moment, I can only see a very wet lawn on an overcast day

I hope the sun shows up soon for you Luigi. My small, what I generously call a forest, is a large area of trees and foliage behind my backyard thick enough to offer me a private sanctuary.smiley

In a few lines you catch so many aspects of the growing plant life (always love showing the lovely moss coverings!), movement and light twinkles and variation. Lovely. Rhiannon
