Colourful Chorus!

The daffodils trumpet ‘It’s Spring!’
and celandines sparkle and sing.
The primroses smile in the verge as they peep,
grape hyacinth’s blue bubbles
burst up from their sleep,
majestic magnolia its orbs lifts high
to magnify
the season’s exuberance,
it’s beauty’s abundance,
prolific profusion,
exciting explosion:
explore!

... think of them as blossom
... think of them as blossom Rhiannon : ) - this is beautiful and really echoes the bubbling excitement of Spring, especially when it stops raining long enough for us to appreciate it!

happy days
A happy atmosphere Rhiannon, spring and new life. You give flowers human properties, usually it would be the other way round. Most of the words are familiar but “celandines?” Also the ending, it seems a bit out of place?
Been in the dog box complaints and that.
Keep well! Nolan &

celandines
Thanks for the link Rhiannon! Lovely photo and the poem as well. They might even be here in the little photos too! Sunflowers also open with the sun and they too are yellow. However much bigger they are grown for cooking oil which can be used for diesel too.
I'm doing fine, yesterday was a public holiday so many people are making it a long weekend. Then of course next weekend is Easter, so things are slowing down a bit. Good for the electricity though, but we expect things will be getting a bit ugly with closely contested coming elections.
I did read you inspirational message last sunday – very good. Complacent, satisfied, and in hard times quick to remember again and run back.
See you && Nolan

"...grape hyacinth’s blue bubbles

Such a sweep of colours and celebration. I think it's spring equinox today. Finally...surely....warmer days and lighter nights. I think we are due after all the rain. Adriotly done, Rhiannon. Paul
