One Hour Together
You, reading and me writing,
Together on the couch.
I look up – and you are there,
In that moment – all there is,
No need for more.

You Nailed on the head.
And really, that's what it's all about and vice versa, why we are all here. You're reading my writing. I'm writing you're reading. And vice versa. If I can say it that way, Lol...

Hi Dougie,
Hi Dougie,
this is such a comforting poem reminding me of how special life can be, when sharing time with a loved one.
Significant and uplifting.
Jenny.

Living in the present moment
Living in the present moment is a popular construct of mindfulness. There's a lot to be said for Zen Buddhism and appreciating life without necessarily looking back or forward. You capture that here so well in just a few words. Nicely done, Dougie.
