Our love died on the special day I remembered,
but then it became the day you forgot;
and it’s now not the dying I regret,
but the fact of regretting
that you had forgot.

Intriguing thought twister or rather untwister. Analyses of what emotions really were in brief encounters, and how each is really left feeling afterwards must be revealing. Rhiannon

Thanks Rhiannon. It is about how any relationship can falter, sometimes permanently, over one seemingly trivial lapse which then becomes the catalyst that finally breaks it; and once that rubicon is crossed there is no going back. Luckily, I make a point of remembering my own wifes important dates!

How can you regret what someone else forgot?

Moody best is put your pride in your pocket and warn her in advance of your anniversary. That would prevent months of moping and sulking once and for all. Works every time, these things are just simply not that important for women. Now her birthday, well that is a lot more tricky, you'll remember next year (so far away). You need to plan well in advance.
