Carols by Candlelight

Slowly, as most quietly sit,
(calm excited children!),
wick to wick, candles are lit,
music swells – when all have risen
carols in loud praises lift:
reminders of God’s wondrous gift.
As a candle can ignite

so we each can spread the joy –
come, meet this Saviour, once a boy!
