I knew it was there
and thought I was taking care,
but I must have misjudged
(or a moment’s abstraction/distraction?)
and the wall didn’t budge
or break,
but my car has a scrape
and the cost won’t be small
of bumping into that wall …”

Thank you! It wasn't exactly biographical, but yes, it did happen a bit like that a couple of time awhiile ago, and actually very recently to my husband, who couldn't believe he'd done it as he is so careful normally! Rhiannon

The insurance companies and statistics show women are in general actually better drivers Rhiannon! Tom

In general, maybe! maybe more cautious. My husband is a far better driver than I ever was, and did a advanced drivers' course. I was late starting, and at present am not driving because of some health problems. But I was careful I think! Rhiannon

I am an excellent driver but the family doesn't think so, Once I went to the garage shop for cigarettes in my mom's car when I got home the police were waiting for me. 10 minutes max. They say I'm reckless they got my driver's licence suspended too.
