the poetry of hate

So I was reading this thing on a blog about Hazel Blears throwing her hat into the deputy leadership ring, and Hazel's not well liked*, and this is a mostly tory leaning blog, and some of the comments about her were just beautiful:

"grinning automaton"
"constantly on the make in a Ritalin induced frenzy, ginger haired Mancunian midget"
"patronising little numpty"
"all the sexual charisma of a serious road traffic accident"
"odious Clockwork Chocolate Orange"

Some of these descriptions become poetic by the sheer force of hatred behind them, you can almost hear the bile dripping from their lips as they type.

Have you heard any really vicious descriptions of people (especially politicians) you like? There must be a few good ones from these forums.

(*I'm not a Blears fan myself, but in the interests of fairness a friend of mine who has actually met her says she is "not as despicable as most of the rest of them." - so there you go)

Left-wing MP Alan Simpson recently described the choice between Tony Blair and Gordon Brown as like choosing between Saddam Hussein and his son Uday. The late Tony Banks memomorably compared William Hague to a foetus. I don't like Blairities politically but I think there's a lot of old-style snobbery in this kind of stuff. She's apparently being attacked for being short, having ginger hair and coming from Manchester. And smiling and not being very sexy - hardly an unusual amongst politicians.

Don't know about poetry, but I have found this rather lovely picture of bile ducts... http://classroom.sdmesa.edu/ageller/images/Bile%20ducts%201.JPG ...! [[[~P~]]] ... What is "The Art of Tea"? ... (www.pepsoid.wordpress.com - latest... "Disappearing Robots")
