New War

As a feeling of great tension grows
Now is a time to be on your toes
Powerful forces come into play
Look for a dog that's had no day
Is it a judgment on mankind
Is there a power to which we've been blind
People too frightened to be afraid
Starting to wish to their god they had prayed
Like a black cloud fear hangs overhead
People think they can smell the smell of the dead
A cosy life torn apart
A whole new war about to start
A new devil steps onto the stage
A secret war he's come to wage
Yet here is a battle lost in time
Each side believes they commit no crime
Shout stand up the righteous and all shall stand
Ask who god has blessed and all raise a hand
Ask who's head did the devil anoint
And all are ready the finger to point
