Work Diary, 2/27/03

A brief conversation between myself and a co-worker this morning:

"Is your future so bright you gotta wear shades?" I asked, holding the
elevator door for her.

"I don't know why I wear them," she answered, "Even when it's overcast
like this."

"You're just used to wearing them," I suggested.

"Yeah, it's a habit."

"Kind of like crack cocaine?"

Am I trying to get myself fired? Jesus.
