Take My Broken Body

TAKE MY BROKEN BODY ?

When you find my dead and broken body

Please treat it with respect

The Joints all creaky and crumbling

But all isn't totally wrecked

My brain? Well it worked sometimes

Perhaps not quite as good as others

Such as doing cryptic crosswords

Or searching for a rhyme

Smothers, Mothers, Brothers

(Hey what rhymes with others Caruthers?)

I dedicate my body to the leek trench

My best suit to Oxfam

As regards my epitaph!
