MY LITTLE LOBSTER
Little lobster,
With your tough exterior,
And your succulent bits
Lurking within,
You've clawed your way
Into my heart.
The delicate articulation
Becomes clear
When I get close to you,
Pinch me,
I think I'm dreaming.
With becoming elegance
You move through
Your fluid word.
And know the lustre
Of the deep,
As I
Am entombed in another world.
But tell me
Little lobster, why
Do you scream
In the bath?
