Colours

hole appeared in paper
and felt very lonely
then red arrived
and hole felt afraid
because red was standing too close
but red was just curious

blue trickled in from the corner
and sped towards the centre
she liked being in the middle
and her friend yellow was there
who unfortunately always turned green
at the sight of blue

suddenly white loomed overhead
but wasn't too bright
so turned fluorescent pink
and made everyone blink

distant rumblings could be heard
then black flooded in
sweeping everyone away
only hole remained
and once again felt lonely
