A Styrofoam wedding
preceded the cakestorm.
As we all stood and bickered
An egret went unnoticed
There, in the leatherclad treetops,
Spotted only by a Lithuanian called Sven.
Small wonder vicars have ulcers, I say.

I would like to take you to Paris:
We could wear each other's clothes and not be embarrassed,
We could be bored at breakfast by someone called Harris,
And sign all our postcards "Plastered, of Paris".
But there'll always be Margate of course.
Jolly old Margate.
