The Steely Tongue
I feel horsemen tearing through my skull--
twitching with each slap of leather on sweating flanks,
demanding more.
I am numb with wonder at what you mean,
but all I see are horsemen
racing from your brutal lips.
No words
just rumble.
No sense
just the logic
of the authority of loud.
Hard.
No tenderness, no regard,
no pretty colors,
no brushing lips on lips
no fingertips
smelling of flowers
comfortable on my face.
