I am betrayed, completely torn apart.
How can you cry when you have no heart?
Totally crushed, broken deep inside.
I cannot run, I cannot hide.

My dream is gone, destroyed by you.
Who would have known? If only I knew.
My heart abandoned, a desolate place.
The future, bleak, that I now face.

Tears restrained, free to fall.
Your poisonous scream, a distant call.
The empty promises, lies, and deceit.
The end of my existence I shall greet.

All is calm now, waiting to go.
How can one I trusted stoop so low?
Love's fought, cried and lost.
Love is gone, but at what cost?
